Jain Pilgrimage Pawa Nagar ( Fazilnagar)


Pawanagar  also Known as Fazilnagar is famous for being the place where Lord Mahaveer attained ' Nirvana'. It is also known as Sathiardiha and described as ' Sathik Deha '. 
It is also believed to be the place where Lord Buddha, while going to Kushinagar from Vaishali, stayed and accepted a meal from his disciple "Chund Kammara".
 He ate "Sukaramaddava" (mushrooms) after which he proceeded to

 Kushinara (modern Kushinagar), where he attained Mahaparinirvana.



 A magnificent Manasthamba has been constructed within the   Mahaveer  temple premises.

The temple houses 4 beautiful carved idols. 
Devotees from all over the world visit this place, specially on  Kartik Purnima to celebrate the ' Nirvana Mahotsav', which is invariably preceded by much religious fanfare and a big procession. 









Local Excursions Include KushiNagar, Sun Temple ( TurkPatti), GorakhNath Temple, Magahar, Tarkulhi Devi Temple, Thawe Devi Temple.


Pawanagar, is 55 kms. from Deoria and 71 kms. From Gorakhpur can be reached by buses plying on the Tamkuhi Road via Kusinagar (Kasia) .





Fazilnagar is situated on NH-28 and has a good market. It serves as a central market for the adjoining villages.

Visit Kushinagar Once.

Kushinagar, district of the eastern Uttar Pradesh, is known for its cultural heritage all over the world. It is one of the four holiest places for the Buddhists. At Kushinagar, Great Lord Buddha, founder of Buddhism, delivered his last sermon. Outside India, it is an International Buddhist Pilgrimage Centre. The followers of the Buddhism, especially from Asian Countries, wish to visit this place at least once in their lifetime.

 How to Visit:-
Air - Gorakhpur is the nearest airport, at a distance of 44 kms from the place. Kasia airstrip-5 Kms, Amausi airport Lucknow-252 Kms, Babatpur Airport in Varanasi-286 Kms.
Rail - The nearest railway station, a convenient one, is Gorakhpur, which is linked to important railway stations.
Road - The national highway numbered 28 connects the place with other important destinations of the state.

 Ramabhar Stupa - About 1.5 km away from Mahaparinirvana Temple, this large Stupa rises to a height of 49 ft. It marks the site where the Lord Buddha was cremated. 
In ancient Buddhist texts, this Stupa has been referred to as 'Mukut-Bandhan Vihar'.







Nirvana Stupa and temple - This stupa made of bricks, excavated by Carlleyl in 1867, stands at a height of 2.74 meter. The excavations leading to the finding of the copper vessel and the Brahmi inscription on it proving the matter that Buddhas ashes were buried in the pace, 
made this place a suddenly important destination for all Buddhists devotees. Besides, the huge reclining statue of Buddha in the temple is also very attractive.

This new project is manufacturing of 65 KL 126 Nos. OH Ferrocement Water Tank.

The Structure

This is  a skeleton system structure wherein the whole structure is fabricated first using 12 mm, 10 mm Steel Bars.

The Wall is supported By 150 mm Ribs every 900 mm


The Sleeves Have been welded on the structure using a plate.



After The structure The casting was done  and then Finished in and out using Cement Sand Ratio 1:2.5.

The tanks are Cured 3 Times a Day Regularly for 2m Weeks and Water is Loaded after 3 Days of Completion of Inner Finishing.



The Patches are Cleared in a Week time.
